For the determination of ductility with load measurement and the elastic reset of bitumen. Stainless steel casing with isolated water bath and inside movable carriage for up to 3 samples, guided in precision elements with ball spindle and stepper motor drive. At the left side the microprocessor system with interface for PC is installed. One measuring place is equipped with an electronic load transducer 500 N, resolution 0.02 N (100 N, resolution 0.004 N as an option). Two more load transducers 20-2357 can be connected. The stepper motor with variable speed range 1 to 50 mm/min. as well as load and displacement measurement is controlled via PC. Supplied with Windows software with on-line graphics and data base (dBase) as well as evaluation of test with calculation of planimetrie. Special test sequences can be programmed by the user himself. The water bath temperature can be recorded continously by use of temperature sensors 20-2359, available on option. At the right side of the water bath a sample preheating rack and space for a immersion heater with circulation pump (50-0600) is prepared. For tests down to appr. -5° C the cooling installation 20-2375 can be used together with 50-0600. Pipes for the connection of an external cooling/heating unit (50-0650) are foreseen at the right side. Supplied with removable glass plate for the water bath. Ductility moulds and heating/cooling attachment not included. For operation a PC with Windows has to be provided.
